Fuel Pump Injection All Models to 2000 MPS0860

Description

In-line electric fuel pump that sits just forward of the fuel tank on most pre-2000 year Morgans.

The most common cause of failure ( after checking its not the fuel injection relay – see item BEE0780) is the in line pump unit – usually caused by contaminated fuel.

Before fitting a new fuel pump it is essential that ALL OLD FUEL is drained. Diluting old fuel with new doesn’t remove the water which is the cause of pump failure. So ALL old fuel must be drained before fitting a new pump.

Warranty doesn’t cover pumps that have shorted out internally by contaminated old fuel – hence the importance of following advice given above.
