BHM x Little Quarry Glamping

June 5, 2025 By Jessica Off

We combined the comfort of glamping with the rental of a Super 3, at “Little Quarry Glamping” in Goudhurst, Kent, enjoying unparalleled privacy and style, together with pure luxury.

Although we did not necessarily need a Super 3, we could have taken “Morgie”, our plus four, however, we were keen to embark on an adventure within the heart of Kent and not too far from Brands Hatch Morgan-Kent. The team recommended the vibrant blue “Super 3”, which ultimately became an integral part of our trip and was an absolute joy!

When we picked up the car, its bright blue colour was simply breathtaking against the vast blue sky. It stood proudly on the forecourt, ready to set off on its own incredible adventure. The team at the garage were so excited and eager to meet us, and whilst I tried to climb into my passenger seat with a touch of grace, it caused quite a bit of laughter, while Arthur expertly packed the overnight bag. We had a very pretty 40-minute drive through picturesque villages and scenic country roads until we arrived at Little Quarry Glamping, where we received a very warm welcome from Nick, Owner of the site, who is also a Morgan enthusiast himself.

Little Quarry Glamping features two highly luxurious pods with breathtaking views of the rolling Kent countryside, but it isn’t until you go inside that you realise how much thought and work has gone into creating these exclusive pods.

Stepping inside our accommodation, we were immediately captivated by its luxurious ambiance. Equipped with underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, and a sophisticated sound system, it exuded an unparalleled sense of comfort and indulgence.

The charming veranda on the front provided ample space for outdoor dining and relaxation, and the surrounding grassland features an elaborately ornate fire pit and BBQ, exclusively reserved for our use. Incidentally, toasting forks and huge marshmallows were discovered in the kitchen, making an ideal late-night snack by the fire, which we thoroughly enjoyed whilst observing the delights of an early summer’s evening.

Nick provided us with an extensive tour of the pod, which featured a superb microwave/oven, induction hob, a well-stocked fridge freezer with essentials for nibbles, a “tipple”, and breakfast goodies. Additionally, there were games, books, a torch, and even a teddy bear displayed on the shelves, and if that wasn’t enough, a key to the store, which provided extra outdoor games, chairs, logs, and firelighters.

During our stay, we didn’t want for anything; the shower was highly efficient, and towels were abundant. The blackout blinds and the remarkably comfortable mattress meant that we had a great night’s sleep.

The following morning, the weather was once again glorious, and when the blinds were raised and the patio doors unlocked, the sun streamed through the entire pod, illuminating the exquisite wood grain of this meticulously crafted accommodation.

We were captivated by the secluded location, with only the pod and the Super 3 for our company. It was a delightful treat. The only potential neighbours we anticipated encountering were the sheep grazing in the adjacent field. I even participated in feeding them, which evoked fond memories of my childhood spent on a farm.

Arthur thoroughly enjoyed driving the Super 3, and now, we both want one of our own! Reluctantly, we returned the car to the garage, but we made fantastic new memories. We highly recommend the combined experience. Even a one night stay felt like a week away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
