Saturday 19th September 2026 is International Morgan Day and we have a day of activities planned to celebrate.
Starting with light refreshments at the garage from 10am-12.30pm, where David Wellings, author of ‘Buying and Mainting a Modern Traditional Morgan’ will be joining us for a book signing of his newest release, Modern Traditional Morgans 1997-2020. The book includes background on the development of Morgan sports cars and reflections and insights on the ownership experience, along with a concise guide to the multiple variations and invisible intricacies which are an intrinsic part of the steel-chassis Morgans. Books can be purchased on the day, but if you would like to pre-order, please do so here.
This will be followed by a visit to Yotes Court Vineyard in Mereworth who are hosting a bespoke event tailored specifically for Morgan drivers. This experience combines the elegance of iconic British motoring with the peak of the English vineyard season. In honour of the occasion, they are offering a complimentary “Abundance of the Vineyard” tour. Held just moments before the autumn harvest, this is a rare opportunity to experience the vineyard at its most vibrant and fruitful. As their special guest, you will be guided through their award-winning vines and enjoy a glass of their signature wine poured right there amongst the grapes; a truly special and immersive experience. Tour Times: 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. No need to book, just arrive for your preferred tour time. They also have a special gift for those arriving in their Morgans: 20% off sparkling wines. Stay and soak in the views after your tour where platters of locally sourced cheeses and charcuterie, and their range of still and sparkling wines, will be available to purchase.
